Nikita Malcolm, MPH

CECA Senior Research Manager

Nikita is a skilled researcher with a passion for leveraging public health approaches to promote health equity. She has experience designing and conducting public health-related research studies, collecting and analyzing data, synthesizing existing evidence (e.g., systematic literature reviews, environmental scans), and disseminating key study findings. As a Research Manager at CECA, Nikita supports the Coalition’s efforts to develop, prioritize, and disseminate recommendations on policy-ready contraceptive access research and workforce capacity.

Nikita has partnered with a range of government agencies, health systems, and community-based organizations to conduct research on sexual and reproductive health topics. Her research experience includes conducting studies related to HIV prevention services for women in family planning settings, sexual harassment among minority Veterans, and barriers and facilitators to care for transgender women and their healthcare providers. She also conducted a series of systematic reviews to inform quality family planning service recommendations and disseminated findings in evidence reports, oral and poster conference presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.

Nikita is a graduate of the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, where she received her Master’s in Public Health. She received a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
